The world’s most successful people’s morning routine

I’ve personally come to see having a morning routine as an important thing which contributes directly to how your day is spent. I struggle to follow the small one I have but I strive daily because of its immense benefits. I’ve compiled some activities several highly successful people in the world do while doing my personal research. Since sharing is caring, I decided to share.

1. Wake up early
The Time you wake up depends on you but make sure its effectively productive for you. Some successful people wake up as early as 3:30am while others wake as late as 11am. Most people will only tell you the early routine but it all boils down to what works for you. When you find it, maintain it! Drink a lot of water once you wake up. Its best to Write your plan for the day the night before so you have something to look up to during the following day.

2. Make their bed
Charles Duhigg in his book about the power habits tells of the immense importance of making your bed once you wake up. He calls making your bed a “keystone habit”. When we perform tasks, we feel good and this is one of the. This creates the needed motivation to do other task. It does not matter how small they may be.

3. Exercise
I’m guessing this was one of the things which came to mind when you saw this article. Its importance needs no further mention. Just find something which works for you and is beneficial to your health and practice. Make it a habit, a part of your morning routine.

4. Work on a personal project
The day can be so packed the loaded that we often can’t seem to find time to work on certain projects. These projects may be personal things you are passionate about but can’t get to do at work or during your daily routine. The morning is a great time to do such work since you may be exhausted after the day time is over.

What we design on our own, we feel proud about. What we feel proud about or good about we patronize. So these are just what successful people do most in common. It does not mean doing a systematic following of these will give you the same results. The trick is find what fits into your personality, and then fine tune it to your personal needs for optimal results. They have done these and it works for them, it’s up to you to create your own morning routine to build your perfect morning habit. It may not start out right but as you move from morning to morning, you’ll be able to find what works and what doesn’t. Keep learning new habits and incorporating them to what you already have.
